By means of this function you will be able to realize about the use of the styles for your workbooks with the possibility of modifying or saving the styles, so that those can be re-used again. | |||||
This tool allows the management of styles grouping them through the theme styles. | |||||
A theme styles represents a suite of styles which includes : Titles - Bullets, Cells format , Format range ,Cells comment , Images. | |||||
Select theme styles | |||||
The first element "Active book" represents the suite of styles of its active workbook. | |||||
The function of theme styles -> Active book is to show the own styles of the active book and the incorporated styles with the tool all the styles of the theme styles -> Active book should be written on when starting Excel or when pressing “Refresh Preview” according to the |

existing styles in the active book. | |||||
In any case if you wish to save any configuration, select in the dialogue box settings the theme styles active book and press the button ” to save a copy of the theme styles. | |||||
It should normally keep the styles you want to apply in the next sessions in the theme styles custom or in : one new theme styles. |

The theme styles customs has as function to be the repository of its styles, in this theme styles you will be able to save the | |||||
styles you wish to re-use. | |||||
Also, The element "Jabs" represent new suite of alternative styles. | |||||
The fourth element of the list "Office" shows styles by default as it is managed by Excel. |

The tool shows themes styles according to the theme of colors of its active workbook When starting Microsoft Excel. |

In order to select a theme style display the list, select an item of the list. | |||||
You will be able to verify the appearance of corresponding styles to every one of the categories (Titles - Bullets, Cells format, Format range, Cells comment,, Images.) in the preview section. | |||||

Colors: | |||||
The appearance of a theme styles can be modified in a fast way changing the colors. | |||||
To change the colors of the selected theme styles, display the list of available colors and choose a theme of colors. | |||||
In this case the correspondent colors have been elected to "Median" | |||||
The selected colors will be applied on all the styles ( Tiles, Cells format, Format range, Cells comment ,Table) | |||||
For example the styles for format of range would be seen in the following way if is changed in colors "Median" for "Jabs". | |||||
Category of styles | |||||
Every theme Styles groups its styles on 6 categories (Titles, Cells format, Format range, Cells comment, Bullets) | |||||
Titles & Bullets | |||||
Titles, it is permitted to apply 5 styles (Titles - Preview ) of different titles on the selection. | |||||
In addition from this section you can add 5 types of bullets. | |||||
Edit | |||||
The titles are made up of 5 styles ( Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, Title 4, Normal title ). | |||||
1. Press the corresponding button to the title to edit in order to modify a title. | |||||
2. In the dialog box Style, press the button format and make the necessary changes and accept. | |||||
3 .Press the button "Save" for saving modifications. | |||||
Bullets | |||||
This section contains 5 ( Bullets - Preview )different bullets' styles depending on the selected theme styles. | |||||

Modify the correspondent styles to the bullet that you wish to change | |||||
1. Press the button editing corresponding to the bullet that you wish to modify | |||||
2. Make the necessary changes in the dialog box, press the button "Apply" | |||||
3 .Press the button " Save to save modifications. | |||||

This category contains 7 styles (Cells format - Preview ) for cells of calculations as they can be seen in the image. | |||||

The cells format are made up of 7 styles ( Input, key input, Linked entry, Calculation,Output,Final Output,Input note). | |||||
1. Press the corresponding button to the cells format to edit in order to modify a style. | |||||
2. In the dialog box Style, press the button format and make the necessary changes and accept. | |||||
3 .Press the button "Save" for saving modifications. | |||||

Do not change the styles' name because the correspondence of the styles would be lost among themes of styles and would not be replaced among themes of styles appropriately. | |||||
Format range | |||||
This category contains 8 styles ( Format range - Preview ) to apply formats on tables. | |||||

The cells format range are made up of 8 styles (Heading 1(table),Level 1,Level 2,Level 3,Level 4,Subtotal,Total,Level 1(enfasis)) | |||||
1. Press the corresponding button to the format range to edit in order to modify a style. | |||||
2. In the dialog box Style, press the button format and make the necessary changes and accept. | |||||
3 .Press the button "Save" for saving modifications. | |||||

Cells comment | |||||
This category contains 8 styles ( Cells comment - Preview ) to apply comments on the cells. | |||||

The cells comment are made up of 8 styles (Warning text,Explanatory text,Note,ratio control,Enfasis,Good,Bad,Neutral) | |||||
1. Press the corresponding button to the cells comment to edit in order to modify a style. | |||||
2. In the dialog box Style, press the button format and make the necessary changes and accept. | |||||
3 .Press the button "Save" for saving modifications. | |||||

Do not change the styles' name because the correspondence of the styles would be lost among themes of styles and would not be replaced among themes of styles appropriately. | |||||
Get style of selected cell | |||||
With this function you will be able to replace the formats of styles from your workbook for the format of a cell. |
|||||
In order to obtain the format, simply select a cell with the desired formats and press the button to replace the formats on the | |||||
corresponding styles. | |||||
Press ok to confirm you wish to replace the style. | |||||
As result the formats of style "Heading 1" of the active workbook have been replaced | |||||
Applying a style | |||||
To apply a desired style simply click in the preview on the desired style(Titles,Cells format ,format range,Cells comment , Bullets ) | |||||
If the selected theme styles is not an "Active book" you will receive the message that is displayed on the image. | |||||
The message requests the confirmation about the action to take on the corresponding style and theme of colors |

In this case the style Heading 1 of the active workbook would be replaced to Heading 1 of the theme styles "Jabs" | |||||
When completing with the operation, the applied style will pass to be a part of the styles of the active workbook. | |||||
In case you have selected as theme styles 'Activate book' you will not receive the message of confirmation |
|||||
When being applicable because in that case the tool would manage the styles and own colors of the active workbook. | |||||
Apply all Styles | |||||
You can apply the styles of the theme styles directly, selecting in your active workbook the button "Apply all styles" | |||||
1) For example in this case the active workbook has determined styles of (Titles,Cells format ,Format range, Cells comment , Bullets,Tables) and if you wish to change it for a different theme styles. | |||||
1) Select as Theme styles "Custom" | |||||
2) Select colors "Custom" | |||||
3) press the button "Apply all styles in active workbook " | |||||
You should accept the message of confirmation to copy the theme of colors. | |||||
All the styles of your workbook (Titles, Cells format, Format range,Cells comment ,Tables) have been replaced by the new theme styles "Custom" | |||||
Note: | |||||
The Bullets don't work with styles which is why they won’t be replaced directly in your workbook. |

For the case of vignettes, you should apply it on the selection directly. | |||||
If you don't wish to change the colors of your active workbook, select as colors: "Active book" | |||||
Refresh preview | |||||
In order to see the styles of your active workbook in the panel adequately, it will be necessary to run the button refresh preview in some cases. |
|||||
This option must be executed in case a different workbook gets activated to the current workbook , also in the case you make some changes in styles or themes of colors directly from Excel. | |||||
Press the button Refresh preview | |||||
After running the button Refresh preview, the styles will be updated in the panel Quick styles | |||||

Undo |

Press this button to undo the last made action. | |||||
If you are working on the theme styles -> Active book you have the possibility to undo the last made action with the button of the panel Quick Styles | |||||
It is very important to take into account when running undo, the current state of the sheet will be undone by the last one shown before applying a style from the panel | |||||
The “undo” option will only undo the last action made referring to one of the 3 elements depending on what was the last used. |
